<p>Is this the most injury carnage we have ever seen to start a Supercoach season?</p>



<p>At this rate, we are all going to be out of trades by round 20.</p>



<p>Anyway, we will save the injury chat for later in the article.</p>



<p> Is this another week to hit that boost button as we scramble to improve our starting 22&#8217;s, or for some, just to field a 22&#8230;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL ROUND 5 RAPID RECAP</strong></h3>



<p>In case you didn&#8217;t get to catch much footy in round 5, here is my rapid recap of the last week of footy:</p>



<p>Rachele (127) continues to show why he is a legit option with a handy MID/FWD DPP. Walsh (118) finally delivered for owners.</p>



<p>A great display from LJ (125) and a bounce-back for Clark (106). Houston (55) was very disappointing.</p>



<p>Many good Supercoach scores between North and Brissy with Parker (129), Sheezel (127), LDU (125), Neale (132), and Bailey (130) all delivering.</p>



<p>Gawn (131) was solid as always, and so was Merrett (127). Insane game from Roberts (145) and new trade-in Farrow (102). Parish (137) finally explodes.</p>

<p>Heeney (196) with one of the all-time performances. Grundy (124) stayed solid while Anderson (72) continued his struggles.</p>



<p>The Bont (84) finally had a down game for non-owners in a low-scoring Supercoach game all-round. Hardwick (125) and Ginnivan (125) led the Hawks.</p>



<p>The Cats boys showed out with Baz (151), Holmes (138), Atkins (133), and Bruhn (115) all excelling. Duursma (105) keeps getting the job done.</p>



<p>Callaghan (135) was the star in the Giants&#8217; big win over Richmond. Ash (106) and Whitfield (102) were both solid.</p>



<p>The big boys stood up with Butters (145) and NAS (136) leading the way. Wilkie (125) remains a solid pick.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL ROUND 6 PREVIEW</strong></h3>



<p>Round 6 will kick off at <strong>7:30pm AEST, Thursday, the 16th of April,</strong> with Carlton vs Collingwood at the MCG.</p>



<p>It is a week of multiple rivalry battles with the Sydney derby and the Western Derby as well.</p>



<p>From a footy perspective, Geelong hosting the Dogs appears to be the game of the round outside of the rivalry matches.</p>

<p><strong>Dayne Zorko (BRI):</strong> Suffered a calf injury and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks. </p>



<p><strong>Jordan De Goey (COL): </strong>Suffered a concussion and is expected to miss this week.</p>



<p><strong>Hayden Young (FRE): </strong>Will be a test to return this weekend from a hamstring injury.</p>



<p><strong>Noah Anderson (GCS): </strong>Underwent appendix surgery and is expected to miss anywhere between 1-3 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Christian Petracca (GCS): </strong>Expected to return this week from hamstring injury.</p>



<p><strong>Mabior Chol (HAW): </strong>Suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Christian Salem (MEL): </strong>Suffered a foot injury and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Jake Melksham (MEL): </strong>Suffered an ankle injury and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Jack Lukosius (PTA): </strong>Suffered a groin injury and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Deven Robertson (WCE): </strong>Devastating news as an ACL injury has been confirmed, which will see him miss the rest of the season.</p>



<p><strong>Milan Murdock (WCE):</strong> Listed as a test to return from hamstring injury this week.</p>



<p><strong>Tim English, Tom Liberatore, and Ed Richards (WBD):</strong> Are all tests to be fit for this week&#8217;s game, very surprising news for English, especially.</p>



<p><strong>Connor Budarick (WBD):</strong> Suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to miss 3-5 weeks.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>Price changes will occur after players have played three games, as they are based on a player&#8217;s 3-week average.</p>



<p>Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
