<p>The ups and downs of Supercoach, the rollercoaster ride, the crazy variance, whatever you want to refer to it as.</p>



<p>If you want a prime example of just how fast this game of Supercoach can change, look no further than Tristan Xerii.</p>



<p>Two weeks ago now, the Big X came out and delivered a NUCLEAR 199-point performance that had tens of thousands of Supercoach managers scrambling to get him in.</p>



<p>With a tasty matchup against Essendon, it looked like the sky was the limit, but we all know these hopes of a repeat monster score quickly faded.</p>



<p>Xerri ended with a disgusting 68 Supercoach points, which somehow got out-disgusted by the blood wiping debacle, or whatever you want to call it, which will now see Xerri miss 3 weeks.</p>



<p>Just another reminder of how quick this game changes&#8230;like we have not been reminded enough over this first month already.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL ROUND 3 RAPID RECAP</strong></h3>



<p>In case you didn&#8217;t get to catch much footy in round 3, here is my rapid recap of the last week of footy:</p>



<p>Bazlenka (172) masterclass. Holmes (121) and Stewart (120) also impressed, while Bruhn (47) flopped.</p>



<p>The big guns stepped up with Naicos (150), Whitfield (128), and Callaghan (124) all impressing.</p>



<p>A quiet game for most Lions and Saints options, with Sinclair (114) the main Supercoach-relevant option that performed well.</p>



<p>Most Freo premiums delivered strong scores in a beating of Richmond. Taranto (148) with a big score in a losing side.</p>



<p>We already mentioned Xerri (68), but most other North players delivered, led by Parker (161) and Sheezel (145).</p>



<p>Butters (126) was as solid as always. The young guns Reid (112) and Duursma (104) led Eagles to a big win.</p>



<p>Carlton crumbled to Melbourne, led by their big dogs Pickett (135) and Gawn (131).</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL ROUND 3 PREVIEW</strong></h3>



<p>Round 4 will kick off at <strong>7:30pm AEDT, Thursday, the 2nd of April</strong>, with Brisbane hosting the Pies at the Gabba.</p>



<p>This week, we have the final two teams that played opening round on the bye: GWS and St Kilda.</p>



<p>The matchup of the round is obviously the Easter Monday clash between Hawthorn and Geelong at the G.</p>



<p>An Adelaide side desperate for a win at home to Freo also shapes to be a big game.</p>



<p>From a Supercoach perspective, Dogs assets should feast against the Bombers.</p>

<p><strong>Jordan Dawson (ADL):</strong> Was a late scratch last week with calf tightness, expected to return for big game vs Freo this weekend.</p>



<p><strong>Darcy Moore (COL):</strong> Expected to miss 3-4 weeks after injuring hamstring in return game.</p>



<p><strong>Scott Pendlebury (COL): </strong>Will miss this week with achilles tightness as Collingwood opt for caution</p>



<p><strong>Nate Caddy (ESS): </strong>Will miss this week&#8217;s game due to concussion</p>



<p><strong>Matt Rowell (GCS): </strong>Is a test to make his season debut this weekend, returning from finger injury</p>



<p><strong>Changkuoth Jiath (MEL): </strong>Expected to miss 3-4 weeks after suffering calf injury</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>Price changes will occur after players have played three games, as they are based on a player&#8217;s 3-week average.</p>



<p>Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
