The Corridor | AFL Supercoach Round 7, everything you need to know


<p>Round 6 felt like a bit of a settler week, without too much Supercoach carnage for once.</p>



<p>On the trades front, we have made it the crux of upgrade season, where managers scramble towards a side stacked with premiums.</p>



<p>As rookies start to slow down, peaking in price, managers are looking towards some firing guns this week.</p>



<p>The question is, do we pay up the extra money for these high-flying premiums, or do we search for the value in a more under-performing premo ready to explode?</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL ROUND 6 RAPID RECAP</strong></h3>



<p>In case you didn&#8217;t get to catch much footy in round 6, here is my rapid recap of the last week of footy:</p>



<p>A huge 4th quarter for Naicos (140) made for an easy loop for many managers. Houston (87) and Jagga (64) continue to underwhelm.</p>



<p>Jezza (160) explodes with 10 as Baz (151) and Holmes (121) just keep flying high. The Bont (66) went low again, while Bruhn (56) and Jaques (34) flopped.</p>



<p>Grundy (136), Blakey (128), and Oliver (128) were the standouts. Callaghan (65) struggled with a tag.</p>



<p>Merrett (150) went huge, while Rowell (125) continues to get into his work. Petracca (105) very solid on return.</p>

<p>A Butters (154) masterclass, while JFH (119) was also good. Newcombe (125) the best from the Hawks.</p>



<p>Wilkie (121) continues to get it done, and so does Sinclair (119). NAS (70) and Rachele (68) very underwhelming.</p>



<p>Sheezel (141), LDU (130), and Parker (12) continue to get it done for North. Ross (149) went big for Richmond despite the loss.</p>



<p>Andrews (141) had a monster game despite the loss. Kozzy (108) outduels Bailey (52), both popular forward trade-ins last week.</p>



<p>A Clark masterclass (146) and another solid game from Jackson (125) to end the week. Murdock (85) very good on return.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL ROUND 6 PREVIEW</strong></h3>



<p>Round 7 will kick off at <strong>7:30pm AEST, Thursday, the 23rd of April,</strong> with the Dogs hosting Sydney.</p>



<p>ANZAC day weekend is here, and it looks like a slate full of one-sided matchups, although the upset threat is definitely there.</p>



<p>The hardest game to pick for the week is probably Hawthorn vs Gold Coast down in Tassie.</p>



<p>From a Supercoach perspective, with the one-sided matchups, there appears to be many good games to target.</p>

<p><strong>Jarrod Berry (BRI):</strong> Suffered a calf injury and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. </p>



<p><strong>Marc Pittonet (CAR): </strong>Suffered a hand injury and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Darcy Moore (COL): </strong>Listed as a test to play this weekend, returning from a hamstring injury.</p>



<p><strong>Jordan Ridley (ESS): </strong>Suffered a calf injury and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Gryan Miers (GEE): </strong>Still awaiting clarity on the severity of injury, but could miss extended time with a knee injury.</p>



<p><strong>Noah Anderson (GCS): </strong>Listed as a test to play this weekend, as he suffers from appendix surgery.</p>



<p><strong>John Noble (GCS): </strong>Will miss this week with a one-week suspension.</p>



<p><strong>Dylan Moore and James Sicily (HAW): </strong>Will both miss this week with a one-week suspension.</p>



<p><strong>Tim Taranto (RIC): </strong>Suffered a concussion and will miss this week.</p>



<p><strong>Sam Banks (RIC): </strong>Suffered a collarbone injury and is expected to miss 6 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Tom De Koning (STK):</strong> Listed as a test this week with a back injury.</p>



<p><strong>Tom Liberatore (WBD):</strong> Suffered a concussion and will miss this week at a minimum.</p>



<p><strong>Sam Darcy (WBD):</strong> Devastating news as Darcy will miss the season after suffering an ACL injury.</p>



<p><strong>Marcus Bontempelli (WBD):</strong> Is listed as a test this week as he battles a knee issue.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>AFL SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>Price changes will occur after players have played three games, as they are based on a player&#8217;s 3-week average.</p>



<p>Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
