Six Again | NRL Supercoach Round 11, everything you need to know


<p>I think it is fair to announce that we have officially entered a new age of NRL Supercoach.</p>



<p>The high scoring started as an anomaly, then it became a coincidence, then a trend, and now it&#8217;s just reality.</p>



<p>80 is the new 60, 120 is the new 100, 150 is the new 120, and can we even say double centuries are back in play!!!???</p>



<p>Round 10 of NRL Supercoach was ridiculous, with 19 tons, 6 scores of 140+, and a whopping 207 from Sir Greg the Leg the Great.</p>



<p>The quest for finding the highest upside play of the week continues&#8230;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL ROUND 10 RAPID RECAP</strong></h3>



<p>In case you didn&#8217;t get to catch much footy last week, here is my rapid recap of a wild round 10.</p>



<p>Going in chronological order:</p>



<p>Isaako (178) set the tone for the week with a monster score. Nikorima (112) also tonned up, while the Dogs continue to disappoint.</p>



<p>Tedesco (127) delivered despite some early fight from the Titans. The Roosters&#8217; right side continues to fire with Toia (108) and Wong (104). Kini (86) and Tino (83) were both solid.</p>



<p>An injured Dearden (117) top-scored, closely followed by mid-ranger Samrani (112) in a thrilling Eels win. Luki (91), Purdue (87), and Chester (82) were all solid.</p>

<p>A Knight&#8217;s barrage and Supercoach scoring frenzy with Marzhew (207), Ponga (140), Best (127), and Young (120) all exploding. Ryan Couchman (85) was immense off the bench.</p>



<p>A dominant victory for the Souths, led by none other than Alex Johnston (113) with yet another hat-trick. A rare, disappointing game for Hynes (48).</p>



<p>An overall quiet Supercoach game as Manly rolled over a depleted Brisbane side. Garrick (93) top-scored while Joey Walsh (78) continues to show his talent.</p>



<p>An overdue Storm win, and a big one in that over the Tigers. Grant (151) bounced back in the biggest way possible, breaking his own record for the highest SC score ever by a hooker. Lisati (114) and Hughes (104) also went big while Taylan May (147) was incredible in a well-beaten side.</p>



<p>The Penrith halves stood up with Cleary (141) and Talagi (105), while Strange (95) was impressive in the loss. An injury to Sasagi (13), a souring end to the week for many.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL ROUND 10 PREVIEW</strong></h3>



<p>Magic Round has finally arrived and will kick off at <strong>6:00pm AEST, Friday, the 15th of May</strong>, with the Sharks vs the Bulldogs.</p>



<p>It&#8217;s such a hyped up weekend of footy, you can&#8217;t help but be excited with most of these matchups. </p>



<p>From a Supercoach perspective, it does not get much better than the Panthers facing the Dragons on Sunday night&#8230;</p>



<p>Outside of that, I still expect plenty of points in most of the games and hopefully some nice Supercoach magic for all of our sides.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>KEY AVAILABILITY WATCH</strong></h3>



<p>Each week, we will list players whose injury statuses have changed in the week prior. </p>



<p>Keep your eyes out for Team Lists on a Tuesday afternoon, where we will know a lot more about most of these injuries. </p>



<p><strong>Tom Dearden (NQC):</strong> Tough news for Dearden as he will require surgery on his ankle injury, expected to miss 6-8 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Soni Luke (NQC):</strong> Suffered a knee injury and is expected to miss around 4 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Daniel Atkinson (STG): </strong>Missed last week with a hand injury, expected to be back available as soon as this week.</p>



<p><strong>Latrell Mitchell (STH):</strong> Suffered a lower back injury that ruled him out last week, could potentially return this week, but most likely to return for Origin Game I.</p>



<p><strong>Simi Sasagi (CBR):</strong> Still awaiting results from scans, but suffered a suspected AC joint injury that could see him miss around 2-4 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Jamal Forgarty (MAN):</strong> Was once again a late out with a minor groin injury, expected to return this week.</p>



<p><strong>Blayke Brailey (SHA):</strong> Suffered a concussion on the weekend and is likely to miss this week&#8217;s game.</p>



<p><strong>Sua Faalogo (MEL):</strong> Was originally suspected to have suffered a concussion and potential facial fracture, but has now been seemingly cleared of both and is likely to play this week.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
