Six Again | NRL Supercoach Round 2, everything you need to know


<p>Welcome to Six Again, a weekly article I will be doing every Tuesday morning, that goes through everything you need to know ahead of the next week of NRL Supercoach!</p>



<p>Another round 1 is in the books, and boy, did it deliver some entertainment, especially in the Supercoach world.</p>



<p>After weeks of tossing and turning over which cheapies to pick in our sides, the answer ended up being we should have picked them all!!!</p>



<p>Every CTW cheapie scored 50+, <strong>Moses Leo</strong> leading the way with a emphathetic 95 in the Storm&#8217;s thumping victory.</p>



<p>2RF cheapies also decided to put on a show (albeit excluding a couple of them), with <strong>Noah Martin </strong>and his filthy haircut crossing over twice for 116 delicious points (for those who chucked the reserve on him).</p>



<p>But it wasn&#8217;t only the cheapies who delivered&#8230;the mid-rangers also made sure to turn up.</p>



<p><strong>Luki</strong> and <strong>Mooney</strong> set the tone with big scores in Vegas, <strong>Fa&#8217;alogo</strong>, and<strong> Cody Walker</strong> continued the mid-range&#8217;s dominance throughout the weekend.</p>

<p>We are here to look ahead and give you all the information you need to make the best trades moving forward.</p>



<p>We all know the age-old question after round 1: Is it too early to hit the trade button?</p>



<p>In terms of trading in players, of course, it would be beneficial to watch these potential trade-in targets before moving for them.</p>



<p>But with limited trades each week and price changes looming after round 3, maybe the play is to go early on some of these red-hot cheapies?</p>



<p>When deciding who to trade out, try your best not to overreact to a one-week performance, unless they really failed the eye test.</p>



<p>There is a reason that you have picked these guys in the first place; trust your decisions. </p>



<p>The last thing you want to do is trade someone out who goes on to ton up the very next week&#8230;</p>



<p>I am looking at you, <strong>Reece Walsh</strong> traders.</p>



<p>Thursday night at Suncorp, against an Eels side that just got whacked for 50, the Broncos, hungry for a bounce-back.</p>



<p>I know I wouldn&#8217;t want to watch that as a Walsh non-owner.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL ROUND 2 PREVIEW</strong></h3>



<p>As mentioned just before, round 2 will kick off at <strong>8:00pm AEDT, Thursday, the 12th of March</strong>, with the Broncos hosting the Eels at Suncorp.</p>



<p>It will be the Bulldogs who miss out on the action this week, on the bye, and receive an extended break after their Vegas golden point victory.</p>



<p>We have some more blockbuster matchups this week, with the next chapter of the Roosters Rabbitohs rivalry on Friday night, as well as a heavyweight clash between the Panthers and Sharks on Saturday night.</p>



<p>Anyone who was brave/eager enough to start with West Tiger&#8217;s assets will be looking forward to seeing them in action for the first time, as the Cowboys visit Leichardt Oval Saturday afternoon.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>KEY AVAILABILITY WATCH</strong></h3>



<p>Each week, we will list players whose injury statuses have changed in the week prior. </p>



<p>Keep your eyes out for Team Lists on a Tuesday afternoon, where we will know a lot more about most of these injuries. </p>



<p><strong>Scott Drinkwater (NQC):</strong> Suffered a rib cartilage injury in Vegas, played the game with pain relief. Expected to play this weekend. </p>



<p><strong>Kurt Donoghoe (DOL): </strong>Minor re-injury of hamstring injury, aiming to return in round 3.</p>



<p><strong>Jacob Liddle (STG): </strong>Suffered a serious hamstring injury in preseason, in contention to return as soon as this week, although not expected. Keep an eye on team lists.</p>



<p><strong>Fletcher Sharpe (NEW):</strong> Confirmed to have been pretty much the best-case scenario with a PCL injury, expected back in Round 3.</p>



<p><strong>Robert Toia (SYD):</strong> Didn&#8217;t play last weekend after failing to overcome footy injury, expected to be named this week.</p>



<p><strong>Harry Grant (MEL): </strong>Went off early against the Eels with leg injury concerns, but has been reported to have been just severe cramping. Expected to be named.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>No price changes will occur until after round 3, as they are based on a player&#8217;s 3-week average.</p>



<p>Nonetheless, going early on some of these low-breakeven options may be the move this week.</p>



<p>Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
