Niko’s AFL Supercoach Watchlist: Buy, Hold, Sell round 13


<p>A decent week for me with a score of 1821, but it could/should have been much better with a Brodie Grundy no show.&nbsp; Thankfully, for this week anyway, I brought in Issac Heeney instead of Bailey Smith and hit a huge VC score.</p>



<p>An in game long term injury to Sam Flanders to go with Dayne Zorko now ruled out long term, my team once again needs some premium surgery, and I can’t improve it outside of that with no boosts available.&nbsp; Trades are also on life support.</p>



<p>At least we’ve got some round 12 players to target coming off their bye.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Buy</strong></h2>



<p><strong>Darcy&nbsp;Wilmot ($501.4k, Brisbane DEF, B/E 56)</strong></p>



<p>With Kiddy and Zorko on the treatment tables for the next 5-6 weeks it really brings this guy into calculations, fresh off a 150+ score.&nbsp; He’s young, full of beans and on most kick outs.&nbsp; Super pod option at 1% owned.</p>



<p><strong>Josh&nbsp;Worrell ($475.1k, Adelaide DEF, B/E 60)</strong></p>



<p>Coming off his bye he’s a good buy, but I do have some reservations.&nbsp; Less than half of his scores have been 100+, and some defensive cavalry is returning soon in Keane and Hinge.&nbsp; Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.</p>



<p><strong>Callum&nbsp;Wilkie ($457.5k, St Kilda DEF, B/E 78)</strong></p>



<p>He’s not a round 12 bye player, but he’s value.  Take away his injury affected score of 24 and he’s averaging 109 for the season.</p>

<p><strong>Jason&nbsp;Horne-Francis ($443.3k, Port Adelaide MID/FWD B/E 84)</strong></p>



<p>Only four 100+ scores this season, but he has a big ceiling and that’s what we’re after in the bye rounds.&nbsp; His role is consistent and he looked fit and back to his best pre bye against the Blues.</p>



<p><strong>Matt&nbsp;Rowell ($514.4k Gold Coast MID, B/E 88)</strong></p>



<p>Can the Brownlow medallist do something like last year where he averaged 131 post byes.&nbsp; I wouldn’t put it past him now that he’s got a few games under his belt post injury.&nbsp; He’s at a very good price.</p>



<p><strong>Noah&nbsp;Anderson ($565.9k, Gold Coast MID, B/E 89)</strong></p>



<p>Go to the player database and filter by 3-round average, he is número uno.  Back to his best after the appendix removal but be wary of the tough fixture run and potential tags.</p>

<p><strong>Ryley&nbsp;Sanders ($518.4k, Western Bulldogs MID/FWD, B/E 97)</strong></p>



<p>A five-round average of 108 is elite numbers, especially for a forward eligible player.&nbsp; Sharing midfield minutes with Kennedy and has looked great.&nbsp; Make sure you’re good with the round 16 bye before committing, and that Libba hasn’t made a return to the team.</p>



<p><strong>Jordan&nbsp;Dawson ($576.6k, Adelaide MID, B/E 114)</strong></p>



<p>Speaking of tags, I think we’ll see Mullin go to Dawson on Thursday night.&nbsp; I still think he’s a good buy long term, but you could also wait for this fixture to pass and reassess.</p>



<p><strong>Luke&nbsp;Davies-Uniacke ($563.2k, North Melbourne MID, B/E 116)</strong></p>



<p>On paper, looks to be the number one midfield target off his bye.  A season average of 114 and post Fremantle an incredible run of fixtures to see his ceiling scores – WC, Rich, Ess, Port, Coll.</p>

<p><strong>Christian&nbsp;Petracca ($539.1k, Gold Coast MID/FWD, B/E 120)</strong></p>



<p>If you don’t own, the time is right to amend that despite the high breakeven.&nbsp; A wounded Brisbane outfit at home could bring another big score, fresh off him sharing baby news with his partner.</p>



<p><strong>Touk&nbsp;Miller ($473.9k, Gold Coast MID/FWD, B/E 122)</strong></p>



<p>Seems a safe option in the forward line where it looks dire after Sheezel and Trac.&nbsp; I’d expect 80+ from him with the occasional 110.&nbsp; Not exciting, but serviceable.</p>



<p><strong>Luke&nbsp;Parker ($478.1k, North Melbourne DEF/MID, B/E 123)</strong></p>



<p>It’s a big breakeven, but his role is solid and the fixtures coming up are elite.  </p>

<p><strong>Bailey&nbsp;Macdonald ($122.6k, Hawthorn DEF, B/E -34)</strong></p>



<p>We can’t trust Hawks defensive rookies.&nbsp; They are chopping and changing too much.</p>



<p><strong>Cameron&nbsp;Nairn ($118k, Hawthorn MID/FWD, B/E -6)</strong></p>



<p>Same again.&nbsp; Hawthorn is a good team and he’s right at the end of the best 23.&nbsp; With some players coming back from injury, I’d expect to see him omitted.</p>



<p><strong>Harry&nbsp;Kyle ($145k, Sydney DEF/MID, B/E -3)</strong></p>



<p>Very similar situation again.  Sydney is good and he’d be the current 23<sup>rd</sup> best player and out as soon as someone becomes available after injury.</p>

<p>It’s good strategy to flip players on their bye, but this guy has another week in him at least.&nbsp; For my team at least.</p>



<p><strong>Angus&nbsp;Anderson ($240.4k, Collingwood MID, B/E 33)</strong></p>



<p>He was a lead up forward against the Dogs with the Pies forward line in a bit of a shambles.&nbsp; I expect changes and hopefully that means more midfield time for Angry.</p>



<p><strong>Jacob&nbsp;Farrow ($323.7k, Essendon DEF/MID, B/E 50)</strong></p>



<p>He’s playing and has a low breakeven.  Surely there’s other fires to put out.</p>

<p>You could hold off for one more week.&nbsp; Typically, done well since I sold him.</p>



<p><strong>John&nbsp;Noble ($571.7k, Gold Coast DEF, B/E 107)</strong></p>



<p>I think he’s at his top and I wouldn’t be buying into that.</p>



<p><strong>Wayne&nbsp;Milera ($525k, Adelaide DEF, B/E 110)</strong></p>



<p>I’m wary of what impact Keane and Hinge will have on his scoring.&nbsp; No doubting he’s having an absolute cracking season to date.</p>



<p><strong>Tristan&nbsp;Xerri ($631.5k, North Melbourne RUC, B/E 188)</strong></p>



<p>His breakeven and his latest TOG makes him a watch and see.  If those numbers are up you can safely bring him in next week for the easy fixture run that should see plenty of wins for the Kangas.</p>

<p>Disaster losing a forward premium like that.&nbsp; Done for the season and most of the next with the Achilles injury.&nbsp; Was starting to come good in a more defensive role.</p>



<p><strong>Josh&nbsp;Lindsay ($373.2k, West Coast DEF, B/E 116)</strong></p>



<p>He’s been very good to us but it’s time to say good-bye.&nbsp; +$250k is elite as a starting rookie and you should be able to easily upgrade him to a premium.</p>



<p><strong>Keidean&nbsp;Coleman ($366k, Brisbane DEF, B/E 111)</strong></p>



<p>Another soft tissue injury for Kiddy and out for 5-6 weeks as a result.  Must trade.</p>

<p>I had hopes when he returned to the team, but he’s been hardly worth owing.&nbsp; If named, he’ll lose further cash.</p>
