Niko’s AFL Supercoach Watchlist: Buy, Hold, Sell round 20


<p>I stuffed up my captain again and it cost me a decent rank jump ending up on 2338 for round 19.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>The week I go down to zero trades, we lose another popular premium, this time it’s Max Holmes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>This Supercoach season will go down in folklore.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Buy</strong></h2>



<p><strong>Izak&nbsp;Rankine ($452,000 Adelaide MID/FWD, B/E 9)</strong></p>



<p>He’s the main man in the middle even overtaking the skipper Dawson.&nbsp; The next three weeks bring Collingwood, Essendon and Richmond.</p>



<p><strong>Jake&nbsp;Bowey ($501,900 Melbourne DEF, B/E 51)</strong></p>



<p>If you’re chasing a finals spot in your cash league this could be the play for you at 1% owned.&nbsp; 5-round average of 107.&nbsp; Risky, but fun pick.</p>



<p><strong>Marcus&nbsp;Bontempelli ($589,900 Western Bulldogs MID, B/E 56)</strong></p>



<p>The Bont is back and is still available for under $600k.  He will be the standout captain option this week against Richmond.</p>

<p><strong>Lachie&nbsp;Neale ($565,500 Brisbane MID, B/E 60)</strong></p>



<p>Brisbane is on fire and he leads the CBAs.&nbsp; 5-round average of 118.6 and the fixture run home for inside mids is very good.&nbsp; Will Ashcroft the POD pick but $40k more expensive.</p>



<p><strong>Wayne&nbsp;Milera ($511,900 Adelaide DEF, B/E 77)</strong></p>



<p>I have him as the number one option to replace Holmes.&nbsp; Fixtures against Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond, Fremantle and the Giants are elite for designated kickers, and Laird is out meaning he’s comfortably the number one kick out taker.</p>



<p><strong>Callum&nbsp;Mills ($537,300 Sydney DEF, B/E 94)</strong></p>



<p>5-round average of 116 is very good going so not knocking the pick at all.&nbsp; The fixture run for designated kickers is also very good.&nbsp; Also gets some free points from kick outs when Blakey is not there.</p>



<p><strong>Bailey&nbsp;Smith ($571,000 Geelong MID, B/E 133)</strong></p>



<p>If you can swing Holmes to Baz, do it.  Melbourne, Collingwood, Essendon, North Melbourne, Richmond to finish and the Cats are in no position to rest players.</p>

<p>Giving you decent cover in case of short-term injury.&nbsp; I’d just be holding him for now.</p>



<p><strong>Hugo&nbsp;Hall-Kahan ($293,100 Adelaide DEF/MID, B/E 18)</strong></p>



<p>Giving you good cover across two lines and an early matchup to boot giving you a free look.  Easy hold.</p>

<p>If you own Holmes and Hall-Kahan I’d hold fire on Nas.  If HHK scores 75+ I’d take it and trade Nas in after a big price fall next week.  Likely to get the FOS treatment this week so not expecting a 150 score.</p>



<p><strong>Max&nbsp;Gawn ($647,400 Melbourne RUC, B/E 208)</strong></p>



<p>If you had planned to bring him in, I’d wait a week and make sure Heath is out of the picture.</p>

<p>I was watching when I happened and it didn’t look good from the outset.&nbsp; Confirmed out until finals which means he’s done for us in supercoach.&nbsp; No point holding him if you have a trade up your sleeve.</p>



<p><strong>Toby&nbsp;Greene ($432,800 GWS Giants MID/FWD, B/E 128)</strong></p>



<p>Done his quad and out until round 24.  Easy switch to Rankine for $20k.</p>
