Niko’s AFL Supercoach Watchlist: Buy, Hold, Sell round 6


<p>Gather Round was good to me posting a score of 2,242.&nbsp; That see’s me jump a massive 7,580 places into rank 6,449.&nbsp; Can’t really complain, oh wait, yes I can, more bloody injuries!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Zorko, Budarick and Robertson bit the dust this time for me.&nbsp; Some would also have Noah Anderson on top of that.</p>



<p>This season is like no other regarding injury (keep making the game faster AFL), and we must be mindful that we may not even make full premium at this rate.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>This means perhaps holding off on trading someone you would usually just move on with a 3-week injury, or picking the value option instead of getting big Max, to help you in subsequent weeks.</p>



<p>One week, one bloody week, is all we ask to give us poor Supercoach nerds a breather from this relentless bad news we keep getting.</p>



<p>DPP changes are in, but I don’t even know that I care the morale is so low.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Buy</strong></h2>



<p><strong>Milan&nbsp;Murdock ($99,100 West Coast MID, B/E -143)</strong></p>



<p>The biggest lay down misère we’ll ever get in this game.&nbsp; All reports suggest that he is good to go for the derby.&nbsp; I’d be surprised if he didn’t put +$100k on his starting price.</p>



<p><strong>Jacob&nbsp;Farrow ($226,800 Essendon DEF/MID, B/E -57)</strong></p>



<p>Backed up a 90 with a career first supercoach tonne.&nbsp; His breakeven is lower than last week so you could still jump on this money train.</p>



<p><strong>Thomas&nbsp;Edwards ($119,900 Essendon FWD, B/E -39)</strong></p>



<p>A key forward for the Bombers isn’t exactly very enticing, but with a forward crisis he looks our only option with good job security.  Not a fieldable option though.</p>

<p><strong>Archie&nbsp;Roberts ($521,100 Essendon DEF, B/E 29)</strong></p>



<p>Has an utterly disgusting role, but in a good way for this game.&nbsp; Literally getting nothing but cheap easy kicks in defensive 50 including most of the kick outs.&nbsp; I’m on the fence still, even though it looks a slam dunk pick.</p>



<p><strong>Josh&nbsp;Rachele ($454,000 Adelaide MID/FWD, B/E 49)</strong></p>



<p>His role is consistent, but he has Rankine itching for more midfield time now he’s fully fit and getting touch back.  The data and eye test suggest he’s a good trade in, but I can’t do it, perhaps you can.</p>

<p><strong>Christian&nbsp;Petracca ($570,100 Gold Coast MID/FWD, B/E 101)</strong></p>



<p>Was banging Dimma’s door down trying to get on the plane to Adelaide.&nbsp; I think that suggests he’ll be 100% on the weekend, and he plays the Bombers at home.</p>



<p><strong>Nasiah&nbsp;Wanganeen-Milera ($576,600 St Kilda DEF, B/E 108)</strong></p>



<p>I’m a happy owner and he would’ve gone 150+ if you didn’t give a silly 50m penalty away.  He’s in form, hitting the scoreboard, and has great upcoming fixtures with teams that don’t have a designated tagger.</p>

<p><strong>Flynn&nbsp;Perez ($99,100 Hawthorn DEF, B/E -62)</strong></p>



<p>I’m not convinced he’s in the Hawks best team, especially when they’ve been managing players like Scrimshaw.&nbsp; Check the teams but I’d be surprised if he’s named.</p>



<p><strong>Liam Fawcett ($119,900, Richmond FWD, B/E -37)</strong></p>



<p>He needed three goals to post a 52 score.&nbsp; Not one for me.</p>



<p><strong>Wade Derksen ($99,100 Carlton DEF, B/E -34)</strong></p>



<p>Check the teams, but I’d be surprised if he stayed in with Weitering and Dean confirmed to play.</p>

<p>Not sure we can dive into someone who scored 16 two weeks ago.</p>



<p><strong>Isaac&nbsp;Heeney ($632,700 Sydney MID, B/E 24)</strong></p>



<p>Just feels like points chasing.  Might get some added attention now due to his form.</p>

<p>I’d hold with the Zorko injury.&nbsp; It should mean more kick outs and a higher floor.</p>

<p>Ok people are just getting silly now.&nbsp; Easy hold unless he’s dropped for Hewett or something which I strongly doubt.&nbsp; Reverse trade please.</p>



<p><strong>Joe&nbsp;Fonti ($361,300 GWS Giants DEF, B/E 78)</strong></p>



<p>I don’t think there’s a huge rush to sell here, despite the poor score.  Bigger fires to put out.</p>

<p>This is what I was alluding to in the intro.  I think I’m holding as I have Linsday to cover him.  I know he’ll drop $50k due to the breakeven, I know it’s an old man calf, but I can’t just keep selling.  Praying it’s only 2 weeks and he’s fit and ready to go for Essendon at Marvel.</p>

<p>This one hurt, for both the player and us.&nbsp; Out for the season with an ACL injury.&nbsp; You could hold him and use him to loop forward rookies but needs to go ASAP.</p>



<p><strong>Connor&nbsp;Budarick ($320,700 Western Bulldogs DEF/FWD, B/E 47)</strong></p>



<p>Out for 3-4 weeks with a hamstring strain, but who knows that could be 1 week the way the Kennel’s injury reporting has been.&nbsp; Yes, I’m dirty English is close.</p>



<p><strong>Jack&nbsp;Lukosius ($316,900 Port Adelaide FWD, B/E 72)</strong></p>



<p>Out for 6-8 weeks with a groin injury.  Must sell.</p>

<p>Has been going like a busted anyway so a good reason to move on him now.  Huge breakeven and the round 12 bye are added factors to yeet him.</p>
