Niko’s Supercoach EPL Watchlist | Round 12

We’ve done it, we’ve got through another international break.  



Thankfully, it’s the last one we’ll see until March next year!  



I held off writing the article to see if any carnage occurred over the break, and we have at least one major issue with Gabriel getting injured (thigh), on top of Guehi and Gyokeres being ruled out prior to the break.  



The other concerns are Semenyo (ankle) and Enzo Fernandez (knee), but I think they’ll be fine.  



The other news relates to Daniel Munoz…who withdrew from international duty due to a family emergency.  



Hopefully, all is ok there as I only brought him in last week.



We are now coming up to the congestion period, and this is where you might cash in if you’ve got great squad depth and picked players who don’t usually get rotated.  



That’s kind of been my plan since we started, sitting at a rank of 1178, hopefully, I can make a stronger push now and into the triple-figure ranks.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Buy</h3>



Diego Gómez (£8.32M, Brighton MID, B/E -20)



Well done to those who went here last week.  



A score of 12 without an attacking return is impressive, and he looks like a great trade in once again this week.  



Having said that, the only way I bring him in is if I have a plan, i.e., flip him to Palmer in a few weeks when he’s back.  



Malo Gusto (£8.74M, Chelsea DEF, B/E -15)



Speaking of squad depth, that’s what Chelsea has plenty of, and I can’t go into the Christmas period with someone like him in my team.  



I understand the appeal, the breakeven, and the attacking threat, but he will get the odd benching and the fixtures turn.  



The positive is that Chelsea plays the first match, so you can decide closer to kick off when teams are released at a reasonable hour for us.

Dean Henderson (£6.66M, Crystal Palace GKP, B/E -7)



Back-to-back double-digit scores and a date with the toothless Wolves next.  



Seriously considering for my side as a Petrović replacement.  



The fixtures are good for a long time.



Nico González (£5.49M, Man City MID, B/E -6)



Buying into someone after a random big score, for a side that has depth and rotates, is not a pick for me.



Jaydee Canvot (£3.75M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E -5)



We have a cheap bubble boy at a basement price, but don’t get too excited.  



He is the Guehi replacement, and I don’t believe the skipper will be out for long enough for Canvot to be a serious option.  



Pass for me.

Bukayo Saka (£8.55M, Arsenal FWD, B/E 4)



A couple of London derbies in a row for Saka, with Tottenham home followed by Chelsea away.  



I really like his record against Spurs, so endorsing the trade in, but you could also wait and see.



Virgil van Dijk (£5.25M, Liverpool DEF, B/E 7)



Trusting the fixtures and expecting a better Liverpool outfit.  



If his goal wasn’t disallowed against City, I’m positive everyone would be buying.  



The same goes with Salah, who provided the assist for the disallowed goal.  



As an owner of both, it cost me both in points and money, and fun times.



Daniel Muñoz (£11.01M, Crystal Palace DEF, B/E 10)



He’s brilliant as a pick because he’s so attacking, basically playing as a winger, and his team is bloody good.  



The easy Gabriel replacement.

Marcos Senesi (£8.12M, Bournemouth DEF, B/E 19)



They’ve conceded seven goals in their last two outings, but I’d be holding him for West Ham and hoping for a return to form.  



Three home games in the next four.



Gabriel (£14.83M, Arsenal DEF, B/E 18)



Ok, hear me out.  



As it stands, all we have is a journalist saying he’s out for 1-2 months. 



Yes, he’s a reputable one, but I want something more concrete from the club, and they are still assessing the injury.  



The fact is, you’ll definitely want him back as he’s the best defender in the game.  



So he’s costing you two trades and, at his price, potentially three.  



I have five defenders I’m happy to play week in week out when fit, so I can hold, reassess, and save trades, but not if Arteta is as dire with the injury report in his presser.  



I really want to hold him, as I already have Munoz, but I may be forced to sell.

He’s had his break, so expecting him to start against Burnley, and that’s a great fixture.  



Have a plan to trade, though, in case he’s benched again.



David Raya (£8.46M, Arsenal GKP, B/E 15)&nbsp;



I can’t believe I’m talking about him, but he’s on the trade-out list.  



Easy hold.



Enzo Fernández (£8.45M, Chelsea MID, B/E 13)



One more week for him in my side, before Palmer returns and takes pens off him.



João Pedro (£7.86M, Chelsea FWD, B/E -10).



Good if you have, but I’m not sure I’d be buying this week.  



The fixtures turn tough after Burnley.

Micky van de Ven (£11.45M, Tottenham DEF, B/E 26)



The 37 score drops out this week, so it’s the perfect time to say goodbye, especially with playing against Arsenal.



Antoine Semenyo (£9.82M, Bournemouth FWD, B/E 24)



Losing money at an alarming rate.  



After the penalty miss, he may be off them with Kluivert back, so even more reason for him to go.  



Plus, there’s a minor injury concern.



Mohammed Kudus (£7.5M, Tottenham MID, B/E 18)



Dealing with a knock that saw him miss the Man U game.  



Form seems off too, so I’d be happy to trade him to a better option with better fixtures.
