One-stop Kop: Supercoach EPL, everything you need to know week three


<p>Now we have two gameweeks under our belt, you should have a better idea of which players you want in your Supercoach side, and which ones you don&#8217;t.</p>



<p>This is where trades come into play.</p>



<p>As always, the age-old question of Supercoach arises: Should you prioritise cash generation or scoring?</p>



<p>Usually the answer at the start of the season is quite straightforward: cash generation should be your focus.</p>



<p>Building up your squad value so you can eventually build a team with a lot more premium options.</p>



<p>I still think this is a good approach, and that you should be targeting the likes of Calafiori and Timber as trade-ins.</p>



<p>However, I do believe it is still important to look at fixture difficulty when making trades.</p>



<p>For example, this week Arsenal play Liverpool, with many popular trade-in targets being from these teams.</p>



<p>I&#8217;m not saying that no one will score well in this game, but just something to consider.</p>



<p>In saying this, it is a long season, so if you really like a player, don&#8217;t let one bad fixture stop you from bringing them in. </p>



<p>Here are the key pointers to consider as we head into Supercoach EPL week three.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>BREAKEVENS</strong></h2>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>They are calculated off a player’s average from their past three games.</p>



<p>Prices will change for the first time this season at the conclusion of gameweek 3. </p>



<p>When looking at who to trade in this week, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money. </p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it&#8217;s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn&#8217;t lose too much value.</p>
