<p>And in many ways, the key to building a great SuperCoach squad is finding value and money makers to get your Team Value up as quickly as possible.</p>



<p>To help you in navigating the cheapie landscape, we’ll pull together a few different articles going in-depth with our ratings of the best cheapies for SuperCoach BBL this season for batters, bowlers and allrounders.</p>



<p>Here’s our take on the best undervalued bowling only eligible players which could help make a difference in your side this season.</p>

<p>Cheaper bowlers are the players who can provide consistent price rises over a period of time when performing. So pending role, these players should all come into consideration for your final team.</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Jordan Buckingham, $39.5k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>A preseason darling, Buckingham firmed early as a cheapie of the year contender before getting injured. Bucky has made his name in red ball cricket for South Australia but looms as a debutant and potentially important part of the Strikers setup.</p>



<p>Going against him &#8211; aside from fitness which could see him miss the start of the tournament &#8211; is a predicted bowling lineup which could see him split overs. But if he does get his chance in Round 1 and take it, he could be a stud. Watch team lists.</p>

<li><strong>Hamish McKenzie, $69.4k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>With a Round 1 double game week, Perth recruit McKenzie will be popular to start the season. He enters the opening round as the only frontline spinner besides Doug Warren at the Stars. Similarly to Buckingham, being in a side full of allrounders does hurt his potential to bowl bulk overs.</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Brendan Doggett, $71k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>The man who could keep Buckingham out of a job is Brendan Doggett. Once upon a time, Doggett was a death bowling specialist at the Sydney Thunder. And he’s started the season in fine form for south Australia in Red ball cricket &#8211; so much so he’s been called into the Test squad.</p>



<p>Again, he might not make then final side. But if he does, he has a Round 2 double and a big role.</p>

<li><strong>Joel Paris, $72.2k, Peter Siddle, $72.4k, Mark Steketee, $79.1k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>I’ve grouped these three together because they’re essentially competing for one or two spots, and splitting them is near impossible. All three are good cricketers in their own right, and offer something unique for their side.</p>



<p>Paris is a left-armer who can swing the new ball. Steketee can bowl at all period of the game and was once one of the better bowlers in SuperCoach. Siddle, now aged 40, was once a premier death bowler.</p>



<p>All three could rotate, and tying your hopes to them could lead to heart break. But finding the right one could also make you fantastic coin in a hurry given their draw. The signing of Milne makes me think Paris could push ahead of the pack just given he offers something different.</p>

<li><strong>Adam Zampa, $80.1k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>In the best physical shape he’s been in for three years. Should easily outperform his price tag.</p>

<li><strong>Todd Murphy, $81.4k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>Great job security and a lot of pressure on his shoulders with no Stephen O’Keefe in the side. Not a huge threat as a wicket-taker so might be a slow burn in SuperCoach.</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Riley Meredith, $83.4k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>Could be one of the best money-makers this season if he can find his form. Injury prone but a proven wicket taker.</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Paddy Dooley, $88k</strong></li>
</ul>



<p>Probably in the ‘Canes best XI but might have to share overs given the amount of bowling options on the table.</p>
