I really do not agree with the anti-POD call on Curran – if as you say 80% have him, do you really want to risk not getting the same score as that many coaches in the hope of picking up maybe 15 extra points? And if you go someone else and your player doesn’t get as much as Curran then 80% of coaches are better off than you are from the start! If you have Curran and he fails, then at least you are still in the same boat as 80% of other coaches! To have an anti-POD is dancing with the Devil and hoping you won’t get burned!!!! To get a POD or an anti-POD just for the sake of being different is a dangerous gamble, especially saying it about someone who is so heavily backed. A POD should not be one of the must have premos, it is a premo you get in your last positions and not your first one or two!

    • You’re right in many ways mate, it is playing with fire very early in the comp. The only thing is there will be plenty starting without the likes of someone like Sean Abbott, Dan Christian, James Vince, Chris Lynn etc. All guns on the double, all with potential of going big.

Batting a spot down the order won’t help either, so potentially overpriced? But yep, could sting many if holding off. Big call for anyone who does steer clear early!
