NRL Supercoach Final Word | Round 15 trades and skippers


<p>I wish that I could say as Manly continue their B-Line to the Premiership under Fozball that Turbo Irvo was also B-Lining towards another SuperCoach title.</p>



<p>Alas, after knocking out 1,435 last week and not captaining rugby league God himself Nathan Cleary I slid down a few hundred spots to sit 2,100th overall. </p>



<p>With just 9 players before trades I’ll be forced into using all 3 this week just to remain competitive. </p>



<p>If you are running out with anything less than 11-12 players this week then you should expect to see red arrows barring some good luck. </p>



<p>12 solid numbers who are all roughly 70 average players should see a score decent enough for you to hold rank with some runway for a possible increase. </p>

<p>Reece Walsh unfortunately just has to go. The trade-in for the Dragons and Titans fixtures just hasn’t paid off. In SuperCoach you can’t hold and hope anymore, it’s time to cut ties and bring in the form.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jayden Campbell will be coming into my flex spot, not only as a potential keeper with a game against the struggling Tigers, but also a possible stepping stone to Nicho Hynes whenever he’s back and ready. This will allow me to hold Nathan Cleary through the period as will be necessary with not many trades left.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Keano Kini was the other option I really liked as an aggressive play this week. He is due a big 120+ sort of game and this sort of fixture will surely provide ample opportunity for that.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jackson Ford will finally be coming into my team this week, thank heavens. 750k seems cheap for a guy who basically goes 70-100 every single week without fail and in a crucial low scoring round like this one those points and a genuine captaincy option will be more valuable than ever. </p>

<p>Sticking with the Warriors theme, I’ll also be grabbing the busy little maestro at the back Taine Tuaupiki. He just has all the makings of a fantastic SuperCoach player if he can string a few more attacking stats together. This just always seems to be the time of year these sorts of smaller tacklebusting menaces always start to shine in SuperCoach. </p>



<p>David Fifita who is also a tacklebusting menace, just not quite as small &#8211; is also back on the menu. He looked lively on return last week and scored a nice linebreak try that looked shades of old Incredible Hulk Fifita.&nbsp;</p>



<p>It wasn’t enough for me to invest but will definitely have a keen eye on him vs Tallis Duncan over the next few weeks because one of them will be the go-to for Souths on the run home, we just don’t know which yet.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jack Bostock, Jamayne Isaako and Herbie Farnworth remain the three outside backs to have over the bye period and all continue to deliver at the scoring table as the Dolphins recorded a 5th straight win in very comprehensive fashion. These guys should be priorities for the next couple of weeks for non-owners. </p>

<p>Herbie Farnworth may just find himself the most vice-captained player of all time this week and possibly most looped player of all time if he scores anything above 90, which he should in his sleep. It would be ballsy to take it off him and take a stab at someone like Isaako (who also has a mega ceiling) but definitely could pay off for those brave enough. </p>



<p>If Herbie somehow doesn’t score 90 then Jackson Ford or Terrell May will be great&nbsp; backup captains who should both knock out 80+ with ease.&nbsp;</p>
