Six Again | NRL Supercoach Round 10, everything you need to know


<p>We have reached a stage in NRL Supercoach where you seemingly need to score 1500+ to have any shot at green arrows for the week. </p>



<p>Another week of Rugby League, another week of immense point-scoring league-wide.</p>



<p>Another week of Rugby League, another week of a game with 80 points scored, this time the Knights vs Rabbitohs, following in the steps of the Cowboys and Sharks the week before.</p>



<p>Another week of Rugby League, another week where the likes of Latrell, Hynes, Ford, and Sasagi all explode for monster tons.</p>



<p>The theme of this season appears to be jumping on the in-form players and teams, riding the wave all the way to Supercoach glory.</p>



<p>That being said, who are we targeting this week as the next bandwagon to jump aboard?</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL ROUND 9 RAPID RECAP</strong></h3>



<p>In case you didn&#8217;t get to catch much footy last week, here is my rapid recap of round 9.</p>



<p>Going in chronological order:</p>



<p>Mahoney (97) got his revenge on the Dogs in a low-scoring Supercoach affair. Chester (77) continues to mount his case as a keeper, while Luki was quiet (45).</p>



<p>Finefeuiaki (108) finally gets over the stripe, while Bostock (105) also crossed twice on season debut. Fa&#8217;alogo (76) continues to punch out solid scores despite the Storm&#8217;s spectacular losing streak.</p>



<p>Sasagi (109) returned in the back row and scored two tries in the first 15 minutes. Titan&#8217;s cheapies struggled with Faemani (34) and Hau (28) getting benched early. </p>

<p>Ford (119) pumped out another ton, thanks to his 4th try of the season. Volkman (77) the best in a well-beaten Eels side.</p>



<p>Walsh (86) and Tedesco (84) were both solid in a blockbuster fullback clash. Marky Mark (2) went off with an ankle injury early. </p>



<p>A points feast in Newcastle, led by none other than Latrell (141) and his partner in crime AJ (127). Mooney (123) crossed TWICE while the Knights&#8217; left edge was unstoppable with Marzhew (131), Best (106), Lucas (97), and Ponga (92).</p>



<p>Iro (132) made it to hat-tricks on the trot, largely thanks to Hynes (131), who also exploded once again. Twal (95) was immense as always, while Doueihi (35) suffered a shoulder injury.</p>



<p>Nathan Cleary (98) does it again, but it was Olakau&#8217;atu (108) who top-scored despite the loss.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL ROUND 10 PREVIEW</strong></h3>



<p>Round 10 will kick off at <strong>7:50pm AEST, Thursday, the 7th of May</strong>, with the Dolphins hosting the Bulldogs.</p>



<p>From a Supercoach perspective, the fixtures this week hold LOTS of point-scoring potential.</p>



<p>Some one-sided matchups to target are the Roosters vs Titans and the recharged Knights vs Dragons.</p>



<p>However, I don&#8217;t know if any game screams points more than the Rabbitohs vs Souths, with both teams combining for a monster 172 points across the last two weeks.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>KEY AVAILABILITY WATCH</strong></h3>



<p>Each week, we will list players whose injury statuses have changed in the week prior. </p>



<p>Keep your eyes out for Team Lists on a Tuesday afternoon, where we will know a lot more about most of these injuries. </p>



<p><strong>Adam Reynolds (BRI):</strong> Suffered a concussion and is likely to miss this week&#8217;s game.</p>



<p><strong>Kotoni Staggs (BRI):</strong> Has been suspended for 2 games, will miss rounds 10 and 11.</p>



<p><strong>Jacob Kiraz (BUL): </strong>Finally, some clarity on Kiraz&#8217;s injury, said to have suffered an MCL sprain. Tracking to return around round 12.</p>



<p><strong>Jeremiah Nanai (NQC):</strong> Suffered a shoulder injury and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Luciano Leilua (STG):</strong> Will miss this week&#8217;s game due to suspension.</p>



<p><strong>Brandon Smith (STH):</strong> Suffered a calf injury and has since been confirmed that he is set to miss 4 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Mark Nawaqanitawase (SYD):</strong> Suffered an ankle injury that will require surgery, expected to miss 6-8 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Angus Crichton (SYD):</strong> Suffered a MCL sprain and is expected to miss around 3 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Adam Doueihi (WST):</strong> Suffered a shoulder dislocation and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Samuela Fainu (WST):</strong> Suffered a foot fracture and is expected to miss 6 weeks.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NRL SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>Generally speaking, when looking at who to trade in, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
