AFL Supercoach 2026: Final Word - Round 7


<p>Finally!</p>



<p>Some semblance of a successful team &#8211; one capable of putting up respectable scores now and then.</p>



<p>Halle-f**king-lujah.</p>



<p>Round 6 was a mixed bag headlined, entirely, by big Zane Zakostelsky being a LATE IN and potentially ruining an astronomical amount of captaincy loops.</p>



<p>Despite being a ZZ owner myself, I managed to avoid the chaos thanks to my absolute BOY (and odds on worst trade-in of the year) Christopher Scerri offering up a serviceable DNP.</p>



<p>Heading into Round 7, it is well and truly upgrade season with rookies ripe for the picking and underpriced premos galore.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Trade Talk</strong></h2>



<p>Now, this is going out on a Saturday (work this week was cooked) so let’s scrap Grlj, Jaques, Sellwood and Serong from discussions (although I have already committed to the Serong trade, and yes I did see he pumped out a 92 FML).</p>



<p>Other than those three I’ve just mentioned, we’ve got the likes of Jagga Smith,, Mattaes Phillipou and Jack Carroll all plump enough to warrant a trade.</p>



<p>I always prefer on-field scoring potential, so if there is a world where you can afford to hold Jagga, do it.</p>



<p>Luck, apparently, is not on my side.</p>



<p>My dream trade this week leaves me $1k short by parting ways with Grlj.</p>

<p>So, to find the extra $1k, Jagga is on the chopping block.</p>



<p>In terms of premos, I’m all about the value &#8211; looking at the guys who have fallen so far in price they can’t possibly fall any lower.</p>



<p>Jordan Clark has bottomed out at $524k after pumping out a 146 &#8211; $44k down from his staying price.</p>



<p>Lachie Whitfield sits at $555k &#8211; again $44k down from his original price.</p>



<p>Touk Miller’s a whopping $72k down at $514k.</p>

<p>The last one catching my eye is Nas who will cost $559k and has a breakeven of 128 &#8211; which he is ever chance of reaching with a matchup against the Eagles.</p>



<p>I’m strapped for cash as it is, and I’ve been burnt way too many times before by Elijah Tsatas so he’s scrapped from my plans.</p>
