The Pick And Roll: Supercoach NBA Week 5, everything you need to know


<p><strong>Nikola Jokic </strong>once again prevailed as the top Supercoach scorer of the week, while only playing 3 games a well!!!</p>



<p>Just behind him for the week was <strong>Jalen Johnson</strong>, who is excelling for Atlanta in Trae Young&#8217;s absence and looks like a hot trade-in option this week.</p>



<p><strong>James Harden</strong> rounded out the top 3 scorers for the week as he continues to show that he is far from &#8216;washed&#8217;.</p>



<p>When making trades this week, it appears to be a case of do everything you can to bring in Jokic if you don&#8217;t already own. </p>



<p>He isn&#8217;t the only enticing option this week, though, and the &#8216;Most Traded In&#8217; list shows plenty of promising players. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NBA SUPERCOACH WEEK 5 FIXTURES</strong></h3>



<p>You’ve got to be on the pulse this season with lockouts, with Weeks ending every Monday afternoon and starting up straight away on Tuesday morning.</p>



<p>Week 4 once again has the majority of teams (14, to be exact) playing 4 games this week.</p>



<p>The winners of the fixtures include <strong>Nikola Jokic </strong>(Nuggets), <strong>Jalen Johnson </strong>(Hawks), <strong>Tyrese Maxey </strong>(Philadelphia),<strong> </strong>and<strong> James Harden </strong>(Clippers), who are among the teams that will play four fixtures.</p>



<p>Steer clear of the LA Lakers and Houston Rockets, who will only play 2 games in Week 5. This includes the premium options of <strong>Luka Doncic</strong> and <strong>Alperen Sengun.</strong> </p>

<p><strong>Cam Thomas</strong> <strong>(BKN)</strong> has been diagnosed with a hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks.</p>



<p><strong>Anthony Davis (DAL)</strong> is set to be re-evaluated at the end of this week.</p>



<p><strong>Nikola Jokic (DEN) </strong>is probable with a wrist injury for their next game vs Bulls.</p>



<p><strong>Jalen Duren (DET)</strong> is probable for their next game.</p>



<p><strong>Cade Cunningham (DET)</strong> is still listed as questionable with hip injury.</p>



<p><strong>Kawhi Leonard (LAC) </strong>is<strong> </strong>yet to make a return from a sprained ankle/foot.</p>



<p><strong>Bam Adebayo (MIA) </strong>has been out with a toe injury, still questionable</p>



<p><strong>Zion Williamson (NOP) </strong>is questionable to make return from his hamstring injury</p>



<p><strong>Paolo Banchero (ORL) </strong>has been out with groin injury, listed as questionable</p>



<p><strong>Jalen Green (PHX) </strong>re-evaluated in 4-6 weeks after hamstring injury</p>



<p><strong>Victor Wembanyama (SAS) </strong>questionable to play with a calf injury</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>NBA SUPERCOACH BREAKEVENS</strong></h3>



<p>Breakevens are the score required for the player to either make money or lose money.</p>



<p>Unlike other Supercoach competitions, a player’s price will rise or fall after 3 games rather than 3 weeks of Supercoach.</p>



<p>When looking at who to trade in this week, heavily consider the players with low breakevens, as they will help make your team money.</p>



<p>Similarly, if you have some players with high breakevens in your team, maybe it’s time to consider cutting ties to ensure your team doesn’t lose too much value.</p>
