Supercoach Big Bash 15: Season fixture planner + analysis

Supercoach Big Bash has opened for the 2025/26 season, so it’s time to begin preparations leading into the tournament opener on December 14.



Rookies to Supercoach BBL may be a little daunted by the fixtures and the fast paced nature of the tournament, but in reality it’s all fairly easy to follow with a little assistance.



This is what we’re here to do.



The graphic below outlines the schedule across all nine rounds of the Supercoach season, detailing when clubs are on the double game round and also on the bye.



It&#8217;s as simple as it sounds, players on the double game week will score two sets of points towards their round total, as opposed to those on the single game round who record the one score.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">EARLY TARGETS</h2>



This season every round of the competition will feature a team on the double game round, while there&#8217;s five teams on the bye who won&#8217;t feature in the corresponding round.



The Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Sixers start the season with two games each, making them the priority targets for round 1.



The Hurricanes also have a double in week three, giving them greater priority and also locking them in as the number one team to load up on early.



The Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder have the round 2 double, meaning there&#8217;s certainly room to fit a handful of their players in your round 1 squad in preparation.



The Melbourne Stars have the round 3 double and hold some early relevance, but aren&#8217;t priorities.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">EARLY AVOIDS</h2>



Barring any potential golden cheapies, players from the Adelaide Strikers (round 7 double), Melbourne Renegades (round 8 double) and Perth Scorchers (round 4 double) will likely be avoids until the fixtures sways in their favour.
