Analysing the NRL Supercoach ownership of players across the top teams heading into the last week of Supercoach.



To make life easier when identifying true ownership of NRL Supercoach players, each week we’ll break it down into ranking brackets.



Whether you’re chasing ranks, or playing it safe up top, it’ll help identify the best ways to try and achieve your Supercoach goals.



The tables below sets out the proportion of Supercoach teams in the top 1%, top 5%, top 10% and overall that own each player.&nbsp;



This season, there are over 150,000 Supercoach teams, so top 1% would be roughly the top 1500 teams, top 5% is the top 7,500 teams and top 10% is top 15,000 teams.

The Random Stats Guy analyses the top NRL Supercoach ownership of the top NRL Supercoach teams in Round 9, 2025.



Let’s take a look at the ownership of players heading into Round 10.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="block-6a249953-86b0-49db-bf1b-1c8c9bd539db">Fullback</h3>



Knights duo, Fletcher Sharpe and Kalyn Ponga have increased in popularity following the Knights&#8217; attacking revival against a depleted Souths side.



Sharpe scored a hat-trick in his 128-point performance, however, the catch with Fletcher is that he has one score over 60 points in the 4 games he hasn&#8217;t scored a try.



Ponga snapped a 5-game streak of sub-50 scores with 98 against the Bunnies and is a desirable buy at $547k, considering his Supercoach potential.



The Knights have a dream draw against the current bottom 3 teams in their next 3 fixtures (Titans, Eels, Penrith), with the first two fixtures at home.



Scott Drinkwater has also increased in popularity over the weekend following his 127-point performance in a losing side against the Warriors.



Drinky has the upside of being unlikely to play Origin. He also has the scoring upside of scoring 70+ points in 5 consecutive games with 0 tries.



Those who were waiting for Clint Gutherson have finally had enough after he dished up his lowest score of the season with 43 points against the Tigers. 



Gutho is the 3rd most traded out player this week.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="block-c2682183-b3fc-4aab-9733-1d93857bb8f0">CTW</h3>



Jacob Kiraz topped Magic Round with 152 points against the Titans, which included a hat-trick of tries, a try assist, 10 tackle breaks and 3 line breaks.



The Dogs&#8217; attack has shifted to the right edge in recent weeks, which will help his scoring potential particularly with the Roosters and Dolphins to come &#8211; two teams he has scored tons against in his previous meeting.



Jaxon Purdue is the most traded-out player this week after he scored just 46 points with a try against the Warriors.



It is an interesting call for owners considering the Cowboys have just one bye during the Origin period and play 4 of their next 5 games at home, including their next 3 vs Penrith, Manly and Tigers.

Lykhan King-Togia made an impression on Supercoaches with 83 points against the Tigers in his first game of 2025.



The cheapie is an assists-machine in NSW Cup, leading the stat in reserve grade, and had 2 assists last week vs Tigers.



The only concern, and it&#8217;s a big one, is job security. Ilias scored 2 tries and set up another in a 60-26 win in NSW Cup last week as he bids for his #7 jersey back.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="block-0275278c-028c-4ef9-b9a6-b869684ab4eb">HLF</h3>



Nicho Hynes is the 10th for most traded-in player this week following his second ton of the season against the Eels



His points have slowly been increasing with 65 vs Knights, 78 vs Tigers and then 117 last week vs Eels.



With Mitch Moses, Nathan Cleary and Jarome Luai &#8211; the only real halves in contention for NSW honours &#8211; Nicho will soon be a must-have come the Origin period.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="block-adc59c9a-8035-4b76-89f0-c28fba171b74">2RF</h3>



Dylan Lucas has been pushing his claim as a premo 2RF this season, following an 89-point performance against the Rabbitohs.



He is averaging 81 so far in 2025, with a low of 63 in his 4 games. 



Origin selection isn&#8217;t out of the question for Dyl, but it might be a long shot considering the Blues&#8217; 2nd row stocks, so he could be a good pick up for the major bye rounds.



Eliesa Katoa has also increased in popularity after his price has dropped $60k since the start of the season.



With Munster likely for Origin duties, Jahrome Hughes will have the keys to the Storm, so you&#8217;d assume the attack would become mainly right-side dominant, giving Katoa a lot of attacking opportunities.

Addin Fonua-Blake has had a decrease in popularity among the top 1% of Supercoaches after he recorded his lowest score of the season (45 points)



AFB hasn&#8217;t yet bottomed out in price, with a breakeven of 85 this week and a projected breakeven of 97 the following week, he is looking like a possible get in Round 14-15.

Ryley Smith has jumped to the most popular HOK for the top 1% of Supercoaches.



He finished with a season-high 50 points against the Sharks in a 72-minute stint.



Cam McInnes is the most traded-in player this week, and I don&#8217;t mind the move.



He has the 3rd-best base stats in the game, averaging 57, and has a season low of 51, which you&#8217;d take any day with the way hookers have scored this season.



Connor Watson has the bye this week and Origin just around the corner, which explains why he is the 7th most traded out player this week.
