Croker's Call: Stockmen find form with sizzling fortnight 


<p>The boys have fired up with two huge weeks as we head towards the business end of the SuperCoach season.</p>



<p>The Stockmen were able to back up last week’s new personal best score of 1,676 with another solid effort of 1,511 in Round 16.</p>



<p>This shot me up into the 8,000s overall which is becoming more respectable, but hopefully it’s not the end of the rises.</p>



<p>Plenty of my men hit their straps including B.Smith 90, Haas 90, Hunt 93, C.Walker 99, Johnston 107, Hynes 104, Saab 162 and Tom Trbojevic 288 as captain.</p>

<p>I also snuck in a win in the SC Playbook league which has me closing in on a finals spot, but there’s still a bit to do.</p>



<p>After this week’s trades I have nine players available which is okay on what I’ve heard, and I also have $516,000 to use on my trades.</p>

<p><strong>BLAKE FERGUSON to CAMPBELL GRAHAM</strong></p>



<p>After doing a terrific job for my side in the opening stages of the season I’ve finally got to let go of Fergy.</p>



<p>He’s seemingly fallen out of favour at the Eels meaning I have to move him on.</p>



<p>In comes Campbell Graham who is in form in a relentless Rabbitohs side.</p>



<p>His form saw him on the cusp of an Origin call up, and his availability this week is great for SuperCoach sides.</p>



<p>He has a great work ethic and should continue to see plenty of attacking stats as the Rabbitohs charge towards finals.</p>

<p><strong>JOSH SCHUSTER to KODI NIKORIMA</strong></p>



<p>It was a shame for my SuperCoach side to see Josh Schuster not play this round, but as we as a club faced the Sea Eagles it was welcome news.</p>



<p>He’s a quality footballer and has done a good job for my side but I had to move him on in the hunt for bye round points.</p>



<p>In comes Kodi Nikorima who is having a terrific season at the Warriors.</p>



<p>He’s been a focal point of their attack and the goal-kicking is an added bonus.</p>



<p>The Warriors have a nice draw upcoming and I’m hoping he has a few big scores in him.</p>



<p>Hopefully he offers a bit more than last week&#8217;s Warrior trade in of Tohu Harris who was unfortunately injured against the Dragons.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>CAPTAINS</strong></h2>



<p>Two attempts at getting a captain right is always reassuring.</p>



<p>First up I’ll be putting my vice-captaincy on Cody Walker who could go big against the Cowboys if they can stand up with key Origin players out.</p>



<p>They have decent depth so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.</p>



<p>Hopefully Walker can get the job done, but if not I’ll be putting the captaincy on Shaun Johnson.</p>



<p>He may not boast the zip of his younger days, but he remains potent in attack and his game management has come on in leaps and bounds.</p>



<p>Cronulla haven’t been too impacted by Origin, so hopefully he can lead them to a few points, and more importantly SuperCoach points for himself.</p>



<p>These moves leave me with $282,000 to play with next week.&nbsp;</p>
