Home stretch: Rabbitohs / Raiders / Dragons


<p>Coming off the last multiple Bye round, the Raiders and Dragons will now play all remaining games, however Souths have one more bye in Round 26.</p>



<p>Even though Souths still have one more bye, I’m including them in this series are they are a very Supercoach relevant team for the run home. </p>



<p>With the Raiders currently in 4th and Souths in 8th, both teams need to keep their form going toward the finals. </p>



<p>For the Dragons, it&#8217;s all about avoiding the spoon.</p>

<p><strong>Take note H2H players!</strong></p>



<p>While there are plenty of Supercoach options at Souths this year, their final bye round is in Round 26 – Head 2 Head Grand Final. </p>



<p>Take note of this with your numbers and keep a trade or two at the ready. </p>



<p>The last thing you want is to be unable to field 17 players in the Grand Final.</p>

<p><strong>Targets</strong></p>



<p><strong>Latrell Mitchell</strong>, <strong>Campbell Graham</strong> and <strong>Cody Walker</strong> are the Supercoach Stars of 2023. <strong>Mitchell</strong> is the clear Fullback target now that he is back from injury, but with a BE of 141 there is no need to rush in this week. Even if he scores 90, he’ll drop close to $50,000 making him a more affordable option next week, and his body will be closer to 100%.</p>



<p><strong>Campbell Graham</strong> has been one of the standouts in the CTW in season 2023. With a low score of 34 and three scores over 100, he has shown his consistency with a high ceiling. With a BE of 64, rested and recovered from a sternum complaint, and only owned by 12% of Supercoaches, he’ll be a very popular trade in this week.</p>



<p><strong>Cody Walker</strong> is having one of his better seasons, four scores under 44 and every other score above 66, its&#8217; more diamonds than rocks this season. Any Combination of Walker / Munster / Ponga / Dearden is going to be vital for the run home.</p>

<p><strong>Alternate Option</strong></p>



<p><strong>Keaon Kolomatangi </strong>in 2023 has shown he’s closing in on the elite in the 2RF position. He is a step down from a Fifita, for now, but is a POD with only 9% ownership. He could easier fit into a 3rd or 4th 2RF, taking out his injury affected game of 34, he’s averaging 70 for the season. Currently priced under $600,000 he’s a steal.</p>

<p><strong>Fallen Guns</strong></p>



<p><strong>Damien Cook </strong>&amp; <strong>Cameron Murray</strong>, have both had a poor season in supercoach terms. In previously years but have been elite, but season 2023 is a completely different year. However, Cook is still the 2nd best option at Hooker behind Harry Grant but with only 18% ownership compared to 45% he could be the POD needed at Hooker.</p>



<p><strong>Murray</strong> just hasn’t seemed to get going this year, scoring under 50 in 6 of his 15 games. Souths will be looking to find form going into finals and Murray’s output should surely increase on the back of it. He’s worth considering as a value option priced under $500,000 allowing supercoaches but go harder in other positions.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>RAIDERS</strong></h2>



<p><strong>Targets</strong></p>



<p><strong>Joseph Tapine</strong> &amp; <strong>Corey Horsburgh</strong> are the only two worth mentioning from the Raiders. </p>



<p>Both are solid without being amazing, both are dual FRF / 2RF, and both are priced at about $650,000. </p>



<p>Either option will be solid hold as a 2nd FRF, or a good downgrade from the suspended Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, banking about $180,000. </p>



<p>Of the two, Horsburgh is the slightly better option with the lower ownership of 13% compared to 36% of Tapine.</p>

<p><strong>Hail Mary</strong></p>



<p><strong>Zac Lomax</strong> and <strong>Mikaele Ravalawa</strong> are very much POD options for the run home. </p>



<p>Both players could be considered if you already had five solid CTW&#8217;s and were after a very left field POD. </p>



<p>Both are at 1% ownership, but how many attacking opportunities are the Dragons going to create?</p>

<p><strong>Just NO</strong></p>



<p><strong>Tyrell Sloan</strong>, while looking good on current form and a descent price he should be avoided. </p>



<p>Sloan is one of the players that will go on a 2-4 game hot streak, then pump out scores in the 20’s. </p>



<p>Almost all of his points come through attack and with the run home the Dragons have, I don’t see them creating much in attack.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>SPECIAL NOTE</strong></h2>



<p>The Dragons’ run home is brutal with home games against the Tiger, Sea Eagles, Storm, and Knights. Plus their away games at the Eels, Rabbitohs, and Warriors.</p>



<p>By far this is the hardest run home and should be taken into consideration when contemplating any Dragons trades.</p>
