Weekly wrap: Round 14 studs & duds


<p>The issue with “premiums” is that there’s an expectation for them to score well (DUH).</p>



<p>So, when players like Jack Steele score just FIFTY TWO POINTS, it can of course cause me to go a little crazy.</p>



<p>More so, it leaves my SuperCoach team in shambles.</p>



<p>This week, Elite Dadds scored 1968 which luckily only moved me down 312 spots to 3618<sup>th</sup></p>

<p>Owning Steele is a painful pill to swallow, but he’s just one of many players/choices that has sent my team spiralling down the rankings over the past month.</p>

<p>I’m learning my lesson from last week and will be bringing in Sheldrick. I need his green dot this week and with a breakeven of -43, he’s set to make some coin over the next month.</p>



<p>After my two downgrades I’ve got just $555k in the bank so my options are limited, but I have genuinely been considering Tom Mitchell for a while anyway. He’s only dropped under 100 three times this season and currently has a three-round average of 120.</p>



<p>Harry Sheezel has just about reached keeper status, so my remaining five trades will be used on Fyfe and Steele/Ziebell to get up to full premo.</p>

<ul><li>Due to his 47 in Round 13, Dan Houston (146) won’t even go up in price this week</li><li>Connor Rozee (111) has only dropped under 90 once this year</li><li>Zac Butters (99) had an equal game-high in clearances</li><li>Josh Sinn (24) could be a handy downgrade target after his bye if he starts getting more regular game time</li><li>Tom Stewart (91) had a stinker of a first half after he was closely followed by Sam Powell-Pepper (107). Luckily he was freed up in the second half</li><li>Jeremy Cameron (53) will be hard to ignore in a few weeks when he bottoms out</li></ul>

<ul><li>This is Josh Dunkley’s (137) lowest score since Round 9&#8230; Unbelievable</li><li>Lachie Neale (144) shrugged off a tag</li><li>Will Ashcroft (87) has had an incredible debut season but can probably make way for a premo now</li><li>Devon Robertson (95) was a smoky downgrade option. Congrats if you got on!</li><li>Jaspa Fletcher (63) showed a ton of promise and looks as though he’s here to stay</li></ul>
