Round 2 was a fairly cut-and-dry affair when it came to picking captaincy options, with most coaches reaping a score of 140+ from their chosen players. Jack Macrae was a popular VC in the first game of the round and I expect that trend to continue with the Dogs playing early (Thursday night, Friday night or Saturday afternoon) in four of the next six rounds. Patrick Cripps was also a relatively popular option this week on the back of a huge Round 1 performance, and those coaches were also handsomely rewarded with the Blues’ skipper pumping out a 162-point game.
