TopSport punting preview: NRL Round 7

In form with a huge ROI of 117.68% for punters to start the new season, check out our punting plays for NRL Round 7.

Punting Preview

Each week of the NRL season we’ll be dropping punting previews for the round ahead.

So far in 2021 we’ve profited a huge $230.67 based on $10 per bet, including 3/4 nailed multis in the opening rounds of the season. That’s a return on investment (ROI) of 117.68%.

Round 6 saw mixed results, with the Knights covering the line against the Sharks, while the Rabbitohs failed, as did our Corey Thompson try-scorer tip.

Let’s take a look at the tips for Round 7, with all our markets provided exclusively by TopSport.

PUNTING PLAYS

This week, we’ll stray away from our regular single bets. Games are a little more balanced across the round, while pending team changes make it a little tough to put out early plays this week. As such, we’ll target a few try-scorers in multis to try and cash in.

We like the Rabbitohs and Roosters to get wins in their respective games, while we’ve identified a few uneven one-on-one defensive match ups for our Young/Olam value multi.

Play: Try-scorer multi

  • Rabbitohs Alex Johnston anytime try-scorer
  • Roosters Daniel Tupou anytime try-scorer

= $4.16

Play: Line multi

  • Roosters to cover -6.5 line
  • Rabbitohs to cover -6 line

= $3.42

Play: Try-scorer value multi

  • Hudson Young anytime try-scorer
  • Justin Olam 2+ tries

= $22.10

*Bet void with Hudson Young being shifted to the bench in final teams.
